Sent 7/19 at 6:07AMAll is well the wind is promising for making mileage to the finish line. At 0600 we will find out how we are doing compared to the heat. We had the accelerator working but had difficulties keeping it on in the night. No moon, shifty winds varying from 10-20. At 10 we fight with a quartering sea and struggle in the 7 knot range; but, at 20 knots of breeze the boat builds apparent breeze and screams along at 10-12 knots surfing down the face of the swells.
